Cinematic photography & film
for the alpine world.

Firn Media documents people moving through alpine terrain on trail, on a traverse, or on the wall with the access, timing and rope skills to be there when the light is.

Firn creates cinematic photography and films for brands, tourism organisations, climbers and outdoor companies across the Alps.

What gets covered

Three kinds of terrain. One camera on route.

T1 – T4

Hiking & Trail

Day hikes, hut-to-hut routes, and scrambles. Documentary-style coverage of pace, terrain and the small moments between viewpoints for personal use, guiding outfits, or tourism boards.

AD – D

Alpine Traverses

Ridgelines, glacier crossings and exposed terrain. Shot alongside the party on the move, with the fitness and route-finding to keep pace without becoming the bottleneck.

5.6 – 5.11

Wall & Multipitch

Climbing photography and video from a second rope, jumar, or a fixed position on the face real climbing, real gear, positioned so it never interferes with the send.
